Upon meeting Linda for the very first time, one of the first questions she asks me is, “What is your sign?†I have never been seriously asked that question until I leave my home state of Georgia and fly to NYC for the summer. The topic of discussion, with which I am very unfamiliar, began as the New Yorker beside me on my flight asks me the same question in mid-conversation. On my first day as Linda’s intern (and my fifth day living in the city), four different people are curious about my sign. Linda gave me the Gemini makeup melody to experiment with over the next few days. My favorites so far are the lip colors because I was able to gently accentuate my natural lip color, which I find sometimes is too light.
