A Very Memorable Trip

I had a very warm opening night of my show at the National Glass Centre with a great introduction to my presentation by Graeme Thompson the Dean of the Faculty of Art, Design and Media at Sunderland University.  It brought me to tears, I could hardly talk for five minutes…

Some of the children I had painted and incorporated into the show were there and it was a lot of fun seeing them next to their portraits. They came back on Sunday to the NGC and had lots of fun, especially with the fabulously colored marbles in the gift shop. I took a video of them, obviously I thought I had a photo camera in my hand…

Wonderful – one can feel the fun of the event (could it be turned the right way up perhaps?)
