The Japanese school, New York Makeup Academy, I work with has just launched my product in their magazine, Linque. It looks soooo cute!

It’s finally here, our DVD trailer for my new freestyle makeup DVD, Glorious Technicolor. I hope this will inspire you to experiment and be helpful to you for your own personal makeup journey. The DVD is a new form of “how to”, it demonstrates the freestyle makeup method on four different girls as well as commentary and tips about their makeup and the freestyle makeup philosophy.  The DVD will be available April 1st, you can pre-order it on our website now.

This was another makeup by Jenn for the Base & Eyes class on Day 2.

Well Jenn really did dive in the deep end. Look at this great day one makeup she did on Damaris. The week got off to a great start. This class was an inspiration class. The other students did well too.

I am very excited, my advanced authors copy of my new book Makeup for Ageless Beauty arrived this week and every one who saw it wanted it!
Now I have to plan a party and as soon as I get copies, thank all of the wonderful women that the book celebrates and who participated, people I’ve know for a long time including models, friends and celebrities some from as far back as the 70s and some great clients from these past 13 years here on Grand Street. It really has been a pleasure connecting with these beautiful women on a different level.
And…….. along with the book….. will be a big surprise. But, I have to keep some things for later…

Both Thalita and Laura are going to complete their internship with me by taking the “Intensive” along with my other students.  Thalita has been interning with me for 2 and a half years and Laura for 1 and a half years. They have made great progress. Watch out for the results at the end of the week after the photoshoot with the models.
Laura’s already an expert with her own makeup, look how fab she looks in this photo her sister Sarah took of her last weekend. In this photo Laura used Red Hot together with a lip gloss and on her eyes she used a cream shadow Mars. What I think the chiquest was the eyebrows, I was very impressed with those. She covered the ends with eyebrow wax and strengthened the beginning with Blondi eyebrow pencil. She also mixed the white base with her regular base (see the post below).

Thalita didn’t do this intentionally, but when I took this picture everyone said she looked like Greta Garbo. It was the combination of the Ruby lipstick and the Driftwood blush she used under the cheekbone and on her eyelid then the Moire gel eyeliner. The fabulous scarf she knit herself and is taking private orders for anyone interested. They are made of Merino wool. You can email her at mutantzombiemassacre@gmail.com.
